Originally from Hampton, in 1972 Lee’s parents moved to New Kent when he was 2-years old. Lee attended New Kent Public Schools and graduated in 1986.
Lee is married to Corri Miller-Hobbs, is the father to Sarah Slosjarik, Alec Bailey, Conner Bailey and stepfather to Catherine Hobbs. Plus, he has two granddaughters Sidney and Baylen.
Lee enjoys spending time with his family, watching his children and grandchildren playing sports and participating in a wide variety of activities. Activities that include time on the river with wave runners, boating and simply enjoying nature at its best.
From a Cadet at 14 years of age with New Kent Volunteer Fire Department Company 2, to Assistant Chief, when he stepped down from active service in 1995. However, he remains a life member.
Providence Forge Volunteer Rescue Squad where he served as an Emergency Medical Technician, Driver and Dispatcher.
Capital Region Airport Commission as a public safety officer; rotating one week as a police officer and the next week as a firefighter/EMT.
Started working part time for New Kent County Sheriff’s Office as a Patrol Deputy
